About Venus

In 2012 we adopted a little three year old Bishon Frise, that had never been to a groomer before. We began a long winding journey to try to find a loving spa that had excellent groomers, and treated my pet as if he were their own. 

After several years, different spas and multiple issues we started looking into starting our own pet spa. Through out the years and after many groomers, we met Laura, who has over 20 years experience in the pet grooming industry. 

I ran the idea by Laura and the rest is history. I left my long career in the legal field and we opened Uptown Dogs Pet Spa. 

Our mission is to provide excellent cuts at affordable prices, done in a loving, caring, clean and sanitary environment.
